GENERAL SUMMARY


 


The SEO specialist is responsible for defining and executing organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies for luxury clients, prospects and the agency. They must be able to execute in an autonomous environment while being a good collaborator. You are results-driven and can quickly identify issues and brainstorm solutions for improving SEO strategies across multiple sites and platforms. The candidate must have excellent client relationship, written and presentation skills and be willing to execute "in the trenches" tasks as well as engage high level client strategic activities.




RESPONSIBILITIES


 


SEO: Autonomously analyze, diagnose, develop, manage, and execute SEO strategies as well as communicate those strategies and associated performance reports. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining a current, industry-leading point of view on SEO best practices and act as the SEO evangelist for the agency.


 


Communication: Be a proactive participant on multiple projects in order to make sure that SEO considerations are taken into account at all phases of projects, and identify and resolve issues as appropriate with the Content Strategy Lead, Digital Strategy team members and the Product Development Lead. 




Day to Day


 


·          Oversee multiple client and agency SEO programs. Augment program strategies and                  tactics with the goal of creating exemplary inbound marketing performance.


·          Utilize Adobe analytics data and other SEO tools to compile monthly report data on                    traffic and rankings. Run citation and link profile reports. Make ongoing                                      recommendations / take actions for optimization: improving site structure, page                          construction, content, and keyword lists.


·          Work with internal teams to execute effective SEO strategies across properties and                  collaborate with various team members on search and website related campaigns,                    projects and programs.


·          Offer recommendations to optimize text, video and mobile content across different                    search platforms (Google, Bing, Yahoo, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook)


·          Create SEO strategy for syndicated content across multiple sites and/or platforms


·          Awareness of and ability to evaluate and recommend third party optimization tools




EXPERIENCE


3-4 years of SEO experience, including two years of content strategy experience




SKILLS


 


·          Strong written communication and presentation skills.


·          Capable of simplifying complex ideas for team members and clients of all levels.


·          Effectively and proactively collaborate with variety of agency and client stakeholders on            a daily basis.


           Ability to manage and execute SEO strategies/campaigns for enterprise-size websites.              Proven track record of growing organic traffic. Ability to show top rankings gained or                  maintained for competitive keywords and/or demonstrate increased SEO traffic to an 


·          enterprise site.


·          Knowledge of all basic SEO factors that influence results including but not limited to:


o    Long tail keyword research, recommendations and strategies


o    On page and meta tag optimization


o    Localized keyword optimization strategies


o    Identifying correct partnerships for link building 


·          Three years’ experience working with one or more of the following tools:  MOZ,                     BrightEdge, Conductor, Raven Tools, SEO PowerSuite, SEMRush,                                  SearchMetrics and/or Screaming Frog


·          Basic understanding of XML sitemaps and robots.txt files and how they work


·          Basic understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console


·          Have developed, implemented and maintained SEO strategies for enterprise-wide sites


·          Familiarity with app search rankings in mobile search, iTunes and Google Play desired
