Job Description :

This newly developed group within an established financial services company is responsible for using data to identify effective strategies for engaging and marketing to consumers. The position requires strong data skills using SAS and either R or python, statistical modeling, strong communication skills, and a desire to provide actionable marketing analytics to drive ROI for marketing investments.#LI-CG1




·         Analyze consumer and marketing data to measure marketing performance; provide recommendations to 

          improve acquisition rates and better meet the needs of existing customers

·         Develop statistical models, perform data mining, segmentation, customer profiling and quantitative analyses to 

         assess customer behavior, identify sales opportunities, and recommend tailored marketing approaches

·         Execute ‘test and learn’ use cases to support a business case for a differentiated and personalized marketing 

          and messaging strategy

·         Using SAS, perform data analyses to gain a deeper understanding of customers and marketing opportunities to 

          drive incremental growth, engagement, and revenue

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide analytical insights across business areas

·         Partner with business leaders to improve marketing approaches and sales opportunities based on data analytics 

          of market information and consumer behavior

·         Acts as a resource to provide analysis of metrics to significantly affect the achievement of business goals

·         Identify and analyze current & emerging developments/business trends and present information and 

           recommendations to team and management

·         Utilize existing and newly developed metrics to provide management with quantifiable gauges of business results and impact of plans and tactical initiatives

·         Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assess the impact, and collaborate with 

          management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.

Required Qualifications :

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Statistics or other mathematical discipline

·         5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, working with consumer data, providing consumer behavioral 

          insights, and consumer strategy

·         Experience working with SAS; and experience with R or python

·         Experience developing statistical models using logistic and linear regression techniques

·         Experience with a data visualization tool such as Tableau

·         Experience presenting data and providing insights to non-technical audiences
