SUMMARY


This position plays a strategic role in the Data, Analytics, and Measurement Team for a nationwide Media Company with 200+ properties.


The key responsibility is in guiding the tracking strategy and operation of multi-platform properties including Over-the-Air, Digital, and live Events, and more. This will oversee the creation of measurement guidelines for first, second and third party tracking tools and lead the group responsible for the development of measurement guidelines.




RESPONSIBILITIES


• Manage the team that creates and maintains tracking specifications for business units


• Guide the development of measurement guidelines and the deployment to all business groups


• Utilize data and analytics to deliver insights and recommendations to guide business decisions  


• Outline and standardize tracking, reporting and data feed requirements for distribution partners and platforms


• Provide BI and KPI measurement for both internal and external stakeholders.


• Establish efficient tracking and QA processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness


• Define and prioritize the measurement process across business units and in alignment with product roadmaps and business strategies


• Partner with engineering, data, product and BI teams to develop reporting requirements and create action plans to meet reporting needs


• Define Partner and Affiliate measurement and reporting requirements


• Ensure consistent and complete tracking of syndicated measurement services such as Nielsen


• Forge industry relationships to build measurement standards and best practices


• Establish implementation guidelines and measurement and KPI plans for new data partners/vendors

Required Qualifications :

• 7+ years’ experience in analytics, measurement and/or business intelligence  


• 5+ years in leadership role preferably in a cross-platform media company preferred


• Extensive experience leading measurement team handling advanced implementations in multi-platform settings


• In depth understanding of over-the-air audio analytics implementations or Digital Audio measurement such as Nielsen, Google, Adobe, Triton, or WideOrbit preferred


• Strong leadership capabilities to lead  highly skilled technologists in multiple locations  


• Exceptional organizational skills and project management acumen


• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical degree or equivalent professional experience


 


Preferred Qualifications


• Experience in developing A/B testing frameworks


• Understanding of broadcast media and online measurement currencies such as CPM, spots, total listening hours, Portable People Meter (PPM), and diaries


• Knowledge of IOT measurement options
