Overview:


Do you believe a successful social media strategy, at a minimum, should engage customers on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram? Would you like access to in-house video production and photography teams that pump out content for our award winning e-commerce platforms? How will you help evolve social media strategy?


 


The Social Media Manager will focus on the execution of an innovative social strategy across all  properties, and management of our in-house Social Media team. At the core of our paid social strategy is audience engagement, customer prospecting, YouTube marketing, brand messaging and public customer resolution. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of Social Media strategy, execution and in-house staff or agency management.




Day To Day:



  • Develop strategy and execute for engagement, content creation, prospecting, paid social, and brand positioning for 3 different websites across all major Social networks and select niche communities

  • Develop & implement YouTube Marketing strategy with our in-house video production team, leverage video assets for reach & discoverability on YouTube platform and beyond

  • Drive significant top-of-funnel customer acquisition marketing efforts through paid and organic social

  • Provide thought-leadership and identify opportunities, best-practices, tools and trends in the social space; recommend test plans to trial new initiatives

  • Develop and manage relationships with key media outlets and influencers

  • Manage a team and prioritize effectively to accomplish all goals

  • Drive data driven improvements in day-to-day Social Media channel performance

  • Be a voice for brand marketing decisions and own select brand marketing budgets




Required Qualifications :

Key Role Requirements



  • Education: Undergraduate degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of Social Media experience required

  • Experience managing a team or agency; team strongly preferred

  • Experience strategizing, running, analyzing and improving paid social media campaigns

  • Experience in growing and engaging large audiences on major social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram

  • Experience with web analytics platforms (ie. Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics, etc.)

  • Expert knowledge of social publishing, optimization and engagement tools a plus (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Falcon, etc.)

  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
