Sr. Analyst, Consumer Credit Risk


·         Use data and analytics to develop credit risk policy for acquisition strategy, loss minimization, fraud reduction strategy and ongoing risk management activities across consumer product lines

·         Develop new tools, leverage statistical techniques and explore new sources of data that help identify new customer, drive revenue growth, and reduce fraud and credit losses

·         Analyze traditional and alternative credit bureau data to optimize and expand credit underwriting and line assignment for all consumer lending products

·         Optimize application traffic to grow revenue and manage credit and fraud losses

·         Work closely with the Data Warehouse, Model Development, and Decision Support teams to facilitate the creation of accurate and meaningful data for business models

·         Work across different functions to support new product roll-outs

·         Use SAS and statistical models to predict consumer patterns and trends

·         Work with multiple functions to develop product decision processes to implement across multiple system platforms

·         Possess desire to continuously learn about data and analytics in the lending industry



Required Qualifications :

·         Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline and 3 years of experience after graduation in a quantitative role OR Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of industry experience

·         Proficiency working with large volumes of data using SQL and SAS

·         2+ years of experience developing data driven credit strategies

·         Ability to demonstrate an understanding of applying analytics to drive credit product profitability

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present conclusions and methodologies across a wide range of audiences

·         Ability to incorporate changes and new trends in the industry into product decision processes

·         Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable customer strategies that will have a measurable impact on business
