Summary


In this role, you will lead overall Credit Management efforts for a large credit card portfolio. This includes credit and operational risk evaluation, delinquency/loss mitigation, enforcement of Risk policies and portfolio monitoring. This role acts as the key Risk interface for the retailer and will work directly with the client and client team leadership.


 


Responsibilities:


·         Work closely with retail clients to minimize the retailers risk, while continuing to grow the portfolio


·         Work cross-functionally to drive smart growth delivering safety and soundness in the portfolio


·         Prepare and present to client leadership team presentations to facilitate informed decisions


·         Drive enhanced strategies, using champion/challenger leanings to manage credit and fraud risk


·         Provide analytics and input for deal and promotional pricing activities


·         Coordinate multisite/country resources to ensure delivery and accuracy of monthly reporting needs


·         Coordinate planning cycle with client to ensure consistency in business plans


·         Provide clear guidance to the organization on risk appetite and prudent growth


·         Maintain effective and credible challenge of critical decisions and business processes


·         Insure portfolio deal structure and contract(s) are consistent with risk appetite


Required Qualifications :

Requirements


·         7+ years in consumer Credit/Risk, Finance, or Analytics role


·         2+ years leadership experience in enterprise card portfolio management oversight with strong emphasis on risk strategy, credit policy and internal/external communications


·         Hands-on proficiency in SAS/SQL and other related analytic tools


·         Ability to utilize technical & analytical competencies to drive strategic goals  


·         Knowledge of consumer and commercial lending products and practices


·         Ability to operate at a strategic level as part of a senior leadership team


·         Strong communication and presentation skills


·         BS with advanced analytic focus and prefer advanced degree
