Business Intelligence Specialist

Responsibilities:

·         Build the next generation analytics platform to drive daily decision making for the business

·         Provide end to end BI capability including requirements gathering, design, database development, ETL, metadata development, reporting, dashboard development and maintenance

·         Analyze and define information needs and reporting/analytical requirements across the organization and translate them to functional requirements

·         Design and develop data warehouse and BI solutions

·         Develop and build critical dashboards, reports, and dimensional models including ad-hoc and pre-defined reports that can be consumed daily by stakeholders

·         Drive creation of architecture diagrams and systems documentation that can be understood and used by business users and IT

·         Work with Business Operations to re-engineer business processes to make them more measurable and generate higher quality data

·         Perform cloud-based ETL

·         Perform ad-hoc analysis using SQL queries

·         Provide expertise into best practices for data visualization

·         BA/BA in a related discipline

·         5+ years professional experience with dimensional modeling

·         5+ years of experience in a business intelligence and/or data warehousing role

·         5+ years of business analysis experience

·         5+ years of experience with business process re-engineering and architecture

·         Proficiency with of SQL, ETL and dimensional modeling required

·         Experience with Looker, Birst, Tableau, Pentaho or similar BI platform

·         Experience with cloud base platforms such as Informatica Cloud, Matillion, Snowflake, etc. preferred

·         Experience with data management and architecture including Meta and Master Data Management, hierarchy management and reference data

·         Strong understanding of core business processes including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Finance in a SaaS or subscription-based organization

·         Experience in data quality improvement
