Innovative and fast-growing Corporate Analytics Group responsible for delivering data-driven solutions is seeking experienced Data Scientist.  This role will develop and implement predictive analytic models and ML processes to deliver real-time solutions that drive corporate decisions across a Fortune 100 financial services company.

Responsibilities:

·         Work with internal Business Partners to define requirements and develop technical specifications

o    Determine data sources necessary for projects

o    Develop real time reporting and monitoring processes

·         Build automated measurement systems and dashboards to monitor progress

o    Develop Metrics and KPIs to assess success

·         Present and review results with Business Partners on a regular basis,

o    Provide insights and recommendations based upon analysis results

·         Provide technical expertise for operating and monitoring of statistical operations and processes

o    Develop analytic libraries to streamline the reporting and monitoring processes

·         Deliver ad hoc reporting and data analysis

·         Maintain and report on statistics of model usage, errors, and exceptions.

Qualifications

· 2+ years’ experience in BI/Data Science/Data Engineering environment

· Hands-on expertise with BI tools such as Tableau, Shiny, Dash, Power BI, Qlik

· Working experience with databases and writing complex queries (SQL, Hive, Hadoop)

· Good understanding of statistical models and machine learning concepts and software (R, Python)

· Experience working with Data Scientists and communicating with Business Partners

· Excellent communication skills

· Master’s degree in computer science, statistics or related field

·  Knowledge of Cloud and Big Data platforms (AWS, Hadoop, etc.) preferred

• Work remotely initially which will eventually require work in NYC location
