Director, Marketing Analytics
SUMMARY
This is a senior leadership position for a seasoned SME and leader in the analytics spacethat will manage, consult, and grow the analytics program at a Fortune top 50 client. This individual will serve as a key point-of-contact and communicate with client executives with responsibility for successfully delivering both analytics strategy and execution for all digital marketing channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Facing
· Manage client expectations and proactively engage the client, demonstrating the value-add of analytics deliverables
· Adept at building client relationships through turning data reporting into insightful analyses
· Build out an analytics roadmap, expand data sources, report automation, BI processes, data
connect analytics insights and recommendations from analytics stack to the digital strategies
· Continuously Support business development opportunities to expand clientele.
· Ensure that the analytics program and solutions continue to remain relevant and up-to-date
· Drive initiatives, testing new products, and evaluating emerging technologies.
Internal
· Oversee multiple analytics managers, with ownership for delivering for assigned clients
· Build and develop a full-scale team of analysts and implementation specialists.
· Fostering a data-driven culture amongst all stakeholders
· Develop and coach the managers and analysts to grow into analytics
· Promote thought leadership, team engagement, and ensure consistent standards across delivery
· Align deliverables with team goals and capabilities, and insure knowledge-share across the teams
REQUIREMENTS
· 7+ years of analytics experience preferably with a consulting firm or agency
· Excellent client relationship management skills
· Hands-on experience in how to analyze, structure and interpret large volume of raw data into effective visual stories for business stakeholders
· Strong experience with a web analytics platform, such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics, including implementation and tag management services
· Experience supporting RFPs, RFIs, and building proposals for business development opportunities
· Experience managing and leading team members at various levels of experience
· Critical thinker/problem solver who can quickly adapt to changing/conflicting priorities
· Outstanding written/verbal communication
· Bachelor’s degree required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Proficiency leading large-scale business intelligence implementation projects
· Strong Adobe Marketing Cloud experience (Reports, Workspace, ReportBuilder, Data Warehouse & API, Target, Audience Manager, etc.)
· Experience with BI, Big Data and ETL design and implementation processes
· Data warehousing tools such as Oracle, SQL, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake
· Experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design in data warehouses
· Knowledge of data management platforms (DMP)
· Familiarity with offline/online data integration
· Statistical modeling experience, including attribution modeling and predictive modeling
· Knowledge of open source programming languages (R and Python and general scripting e.g. Perl, regular expressions, Bash, etc.)
· Knowledge of DART for Advertisers (DFA) and JavaScript
· Experience with enterprise social media tools, such as Spredfast and Crimson Hexagon
· Master’s degree in quantitative discipline
