Marketing Analytics and Data Lead
SUMMARY
This position will develop and manage reporting, analysis and predictive modeling within the Marketing function and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve business results.
This requires a strong analytical background in development and use of statistical modeling with an ability to communicate metrics and recommendations to C-level audience in non-technical fashion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Highlight the business applications of predictive models and implement statistical processes
· Serve as SME for all modeling and data activities and processes within Marketing
· Maintain and enhance existing predictive models and create new models as needed
· Run models,verify assumptions and check diagnostics to increase accuracy and ensure suitability
· Provide actionable recommendations based on statistical analysis
· Deliver reporting to CMO on Sales, Assets, & Marketing activities by sales channel
· Provide answers to ad-hoc data requests going beyond simply providing data
· Verify model accuracy and application and check diagnostics to ensure assumptions are being met
· Identify opportunities to automate or improve existing manual processes
· Deliver regular reports and dashboards to Marketing personnel and leadership
REQUIREMENTS
· 5+ years’ experience in delivering analytic processes and solutions in large corporate environment
· Hands-on expertise with statistical modeling including linear and logistic regression models
· High proficient in statistical languages; (i.e., R, SQL Python, SAS)
· Ability to pull and join data from multiple sources such as: Marketo, Salesforce and data warehouse
· Subject matter expert on data platforms and how those platforms interact
· Interpret and communicate model assumptions and coefficients to non-technical audience
· Act as the go-to resource within Marketing for all data related questions
· Look for opportunities to add new variables to increase model accuracy
· Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related technical or quantitative area
